Forgot to take a pic of this one, will add a pic next time I make it. But it's awesome!! It's sounds similar to my chili but trust me, it's not! Especially if you use steak like the recipe calls for.
Ingredients:
1 lb. sliced steak (can also use 2 lb. ground beef)
1 1/2 cups diced onion
1 (28 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, chopped, juice reserved
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup picante sauce
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
salt to taste
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions:
In skillet, brown Steak or beef and onions. Drain any excess fat if using beef. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, if desired.
